Comic rapper and actor Falz has condemned the use of music to show support for fraud by Nigerian artistes.
The “Wehdone Sir” crooner decried the way his fellow colleagues used music to promote fraud and negative lifestyle. He made the remark when interviewed by a HipTV crew.
Falz said such use of music was not helpful to the Nigerian culture. He emphasised that since musicians are invariably role models and influence a lot of young people their music content should be healthy.
The lawyer turned entertainer said he did not like instances were shout out was given to rumoured “Yahoo Yahoo” and “Wire” boys.
He said music should be used to tell stories, paint hopeful pictures and shaping the society in a better way.
